Apart from Nature photography which I have been doing for the past 60 years I have a deep concern for all natural history. I was senior warden on several National Nature Reserves until retirement 12 years ago. I still carry out ecological surveys and am a licenced bat and GGN worker.
I enjoy my horticulture (was a one time head gardener in Lincolnshire ) art(drawing and painting ), computers, and multitrack music recording. I give numerous lectures on natural history and photography but don't travel too far these days. I am married with two grown lads.
