we were lucky that unusually the foxes were out most of the day and not just at feeding time

A good composition - those enclosures are a bit awkward. I like the way it seems he's slinking over the rise hunting something. My only minor sugestion would be that you could dull down the vertical white branch above his back a smidge. Nice
