This photo was taken in the Yorkshire Dales trying out Simon's new red squirrel hide. During our visit there were several young red squirrels that were gradually learning the ropes of the nut feeder and scampering to and fro to collect and bury their nuts for winter. This squirrel was braced against an old tree log attempting to prise out a nut wedged in a crevice, giving him an engaging "mission impossible" kind of stance.
