This image is of a green hairstreak butterfly perched on a bramble leaf and was taken in Dry Sandford Pit nature reserve in Oxfordshire. This was one of my first successful handheld macro images and the green hairstreaks are really tiny butterflies as well as being a beautiful colour so I am still fond of this shot.
