Autumn Oak Leaves

The autumn foliage colors here in New England are glorious. My personal favorites are the Burnt Sienna colors of the Oaks, the last of our deciduous trees to turn color and slip quietly from rusty reds to the browns and greys of winter. I wanted to capture the richness of the saturated colors and when I saw the patch of blue sky against the red-oranges of the oak leaves I knew I had my shot.
