Salen Boats

old boats hdr exposure blending

    Copyright

    2011 Mark J M Wilson

These are a well known landmark on the Isle of Mull in Scotland and I noticed the still water driving past very early one morning in May. I created several compositions and bracketed the exposures with a view to capturing extra detail and tonal range in post-processing.

One of my all-time favourite landscapes, every time I look at it I love it more.
I really like this photo. I can find things to criticize, but they are small niggles, and really not worth mentioning. These imperfections might spoil a mediocre photograph, but this one is strong and proud and good to look at.
    great work mark
theres some think about the picture what keeps drawing you back to view it
