Whilst waiting on freezing December morning for the iconic 'blast-off' of 1000s of Snow Geese at Bosque del Apache in New Mexico, USA, I noticed the first glow of sunrise whilst still having stars and planets visible overhead.
I quickly adjusted my gimbel head so I could attach a camera with wide-angle lens and let go a few long exposures.
